Kids Own Worship

Kid’s Own Worship

KOW is exciting for the children (ages 4-10) as they worship God through music, teaching that uses all their senses, and a time of application of the theme of the day while their parents are given the opportunity to be undistracted while they attend worship.

KOW Ministry Team Leaders:

Week 1 – Claudia Folsom

Week 2 – Mary Jane Bellingham

Week 3 – Ed and Mary Bugay

Week 4 – Shelly Broderick

Week 5 – Children will have the opportunity to worship with the church family

During the spring quarter we trust that our children’s heart will be thrilled as they journey through the ministry of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, His death, burial, resurrection, and return to Heaven.  We pray that they will understand that God intended to turn Jesus’ ministry over to them with the help of the Holy Spirit.  Pray for the KOW ministry team as we encourage your children to weave faith into their life.   We pray that the information taught will pass from head knowledge of the Bible right into their heart and change their life.

March 1 – Jesus Teaches His Disciples to Pray (Matthew 6:5-13)  The children will learn that we can talk to God and will learn that God hears and listens to us and will be encouraged to  look at the Lord’s Prayer and to seek God’s will for their life.

March 8 – Jesus Feeds Thousands (John 6:1-15) The children will learn that God provides for our needs and will be encouraged to thank God for his provision.

March 15 – Jesus Explains Eternal Life to Nicodemus (John 3:1-17) The children will learn that God gives us eternal life and will be encouraged to praise God for giving the gift of eternal life through Jesus Christ and to tell someone else about the gift.
