The Mission
We are on mission with God to produce fully devoted followers of the Lord Jesus Christ.
"We proclaim Him, warning and teaching everyone with all wisdom, so that we may present everyone mature in Christ. For this I toil, struggling with all His energy
that He powerfully works within me."
- Colossians 1:28-29
Like the Apostle Paul, we are dependent upon the power of God in our desire to see more people trust and know the Lord Jesus Christ, grow in their knowledge of Him, and become more and more like Him every day. That's why we preach Christ.

The Vision
Our vision is to see the Word of God proclaimed unashamedly and in all its authority from the pulpit, in the observance and giving of the biblical ordinances, in our small groups, in our children's and teens ministries, and in our daily interactions with the people in our lives.
We envision seeing new converts being baptized and growing daily in their walk with Jesus Christ.
We envision sending missionaries and ambassadors for Christ into the world.
We envision love and fellowship within our congregation through our unity in Christ.
We envision a church where prayer will be our very breath as we totally depend upon our Savior.
We envision sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ with our friends, family, and neighbors.

* Note - The mission is the goal or aim of the church, and the vision is how it is implemented. Mission statements are generally shorter and to the point, while vision statements are more expansive. Even our vision statement here could be expanded with more details and particulars. As you continue to explore our website you will see how the vision is applied in the different ministries of NFBC.
